I would like to know if you have an online gastronomy course.
Matt, thanks for your question. We have a few online “blended” courses that require some classroom time. For more information on these courses and when they are offered, please contact gastrmla@bu.edu.
Hello, I am a freshman and I would like to know if there are any ways for undergrads to get involved in the gastronomy programs at BU.
Hey Alexxa! The BU Gastronomy program is a graduate program, but if you want some more information about getting involved and attending public events you can contact our offices at 617-358-6916 or gastrmla@bu.edu. Thanks for stopping by our blog!
Hi, I am an international student. I am interested in Master degree of Gastronomy program and would like to know how many TOEFL and GMAT’s scores would be required?
Thanks for reaching out! I don’t have that information here, but you can contact gastrmla@bu.edu for more details.
Hello! I’m very interested in being part of the Certificate Culinary Arts Program at BU (14 weeks). Would you happen to know someone I could talk to that also participated in this Program? I’m an international student and I’m eager to talk to someone that took those classes. Thanks in advance for any info you can provide me!
Hi Juliana. Thanks for your interest in BU MET’s Culinary Arts Lab. I would suggest that you contact the culinary arts department at cularts@bu.edu. They will be able to put you in touch with someone. In the meantime, also check out Student Claudia Catalano’s blog post on the culinary lab: http://gastronomyatbu.com/2015/02/02/the-inside-scoop-on-bus-culinary-lab/. There is a link there to her own blog that chronicles her experiences. Good luck!
Thanks a lot, loved Claudia Catalono’s blog, it gives you a great overview of the daily routine in the culinary lab.
I’m already in contact with the culinary arts department, hope I can be part of the next Program!
