Tell me what you eat, and I will tell you what you are.

These words, written by Brillat-Savarin, open up a dialogue on what food means to us – culturally, historically, politically, and more. The Gastronomy Student Association (GSA) seeks to engage students in the MLA in Gastronomy and Food Certificate programs in a continuous dialogue about what food means to us by extending the academic experience beyond the classroom and creating a sense of community among its members. We connect with the food scene in New England and beyond throughout the year at various events and activities, including: conferences, festivals, tastings, workshops, lectures, farm and factory tours, cooking demonstrations and competitions, dining around town, networking events and opportunities for career development. Many of us love to cook, and all of us love to eat! If you have a passion for food, we invite you to join us.
